Rationale for Inclusion: Competency D7 states that a teacher of music shall understand the role and purpose of co-curricular and extracurricular activities in the teaching and learning process. This is a program from the Madrigal Dinner put on in 2002 at Princeton High School. This was an event in which every student who auditioned was given the opportunity to participate. This was a large production in which audience members were treated to a meal, a short comedic play, and a short concert. I for one can attest to the importance and enjoyment of such an extracurricular activity because my name can be found at the top of the program under the heading "Jester."As a student this was a wonderful experience.
